About
Who am I?
I am a student who is quite passionate about mathematics and helping others grasp the difficult concepts in an easy way, so they can enjoy it more like I do. The problem solving aspect of maths has always been something I enjoyed along with the satisfaction of being able to do hard questions when the concepts click.
While I personally enjoyed math, I hated hunting around in my textbook for missing information, or spending huge amounts of time solving problems that I knew should have been more straightforward.
I looked at what my teachers were teaching, took out the confusing vocabulary, noticed patterns in how the problems were actually solved, and eliminated all the confusing theory.
Why should you learn from me?
I graduated year 12 in 2021 from Australia having achieved an ATAR 99.75, placing me in the top 0.25% of students in the country. For mathematics specifically, I took the highest level maths avavilable to me in the ATAR system: Mathematical Methods and Specialist Maths, achieveing close to 100% for both subjects. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Actuarial Science.
While I have gotten great academic results in year 12, I was not always a top student. I believe the way I have learnt to study math can also help many other students get that “aha” moment in maths where the concept suddenly makes sense and all the pieces to the puzzle fit perfectly. I created THMath to teach others the way I learnt to understand these difficult concepts to show how easy they actually can be.
